Nestled in the major retail crossroads just north of Chicago, the vibrant North Shore Art Festival in Skokie, Illinois, bridges commerce and fine art. Celebrating its 17th year in 2007, this fine art show has become an icon event along Chicago's tony North Shore, attracting thousands of upscale, educated, enthusiastic art buyers.
North Shore Art Festival exhibitors must pass a rigid, intense jury competition. Approximately 150 exhibitors will be chosen out of thousands of entries. The chosen 150 will offer the best in a wide selection of fine art including paintings, photography, jewelry, sculpture and more.
This competitive jury selection process has contributed to the stellar reputation of the North Shore Arts Festival, and assures attendees of a first-rate selection of fine art.
The event takes place in the parking lot of one of the largest and busiest retail centers on the North Shore. The first shopping center of its kind on the North Shore, The Westfield Old Orchard Shopping Center has been the retail Mecca for the area since it opened, more than half a century ago. On any given weekend, thousands of upscale shoppers come from both Chicago and neighboring affluent suburbs. The parking lot of this upscale shopping destination makes a perfect venue for this fine art fair, where millions of dollars are exchanged over this weekend.

The North Shore Art Festival, July 14-15, 2007, has been a fixture at Skokie's Westfield Old Orchard for 17 years -- and continues to grow in popularity! Why not promote your business in the official program book? It's a great way to get in front of a large, upscale audience without having staff at the festival all weekend! Even better, if you are an artist at the fest, refer patrons' to your booth by running an ad displaying a photograph of a piece of artwork!
The 2007 event will be promoted in various newspapers and magazines (Pioneer Press, Chicago Tribune, and North Shore Magazine to name a few) as well as have multiple partnerships with radio stations promoting the event.
